Cabin by the Lake is a beautiful story about the memories and moments one shares with their family. Alex and Van, recently engaged, bring their children (Sid and Olive) to the lake to get to know one another. In the process of becoming a family they make new memories that are soon spoiled by the passing of Olive. Years later, family friends Jean and Greg are staying in the same cabin with their kid, Max. As Max grapples with the possibility of losing their father, they make a new friend who teaches them to hold onto the moments they have now.
