Black Out Poetry & Possessive Relationships
FAQ:
What is Black Out Poetry?
Basically, you take a piece of written work and “blacking out” certain words. Therefore, you aren’t able to see the rest of the words on the page. This creates a poem! Another version of this is highlighting certain words to create a poem. With this one you can still see the rest of the page and the context of highlighted words.
For me, it’s been fun to deface material that I personally found harmful at the time. Now, my relationship with selected books to be complicated. (More on this later.)
