Love and Information
Written by Caryl Churchill Directed by Olivia Ray
Love and Information is a play divided into seven sections with a number of scenes. Creative teams are encouraged to organize their own script following a rule: the sections must be performed in written order, but the scenes within can be ordered in whichever way. Besides this, the creative team has the creativity to craft their own storyline, meaning, and more.

I’ve been recently surrounding myself with apocalyptic stories (how smart of me…): Blackwave by Michelle Tea, Mr. Burns by Anne Washburn, Yellowjackets, Boots by Rudyard Kipling, the Last of Us, and more. And the news. It’s been a little tense to say the least and my mind has been spiraling out. So I’m trying to find something to hold onto. What keeps me moving forward?
The only thing that’ll never go away, no matter how hard outside forces try, is our support networks. Our connections between each other. Community. This is a journey not a narrative; a reminder not a story; a window into what the honest truth is not some fabricated sugar coated half-truth-lie. And the truth is life sucks. What makes it better is the people we interact with.
